what can i expect from our training session?
A full training session will begin with a dynamic warm-up consisting of stretches related to the movements involved in that day’s programming. After warming up, I walk my clients through specific strength training exercises. These exercises are chosen based on your goals and expertise. As your trainer, I would closely monitor your form and correct you, if necessary. The end of the session could consist of a cool down, stretching period, or taking some time to review the remaining workouts for the week. The duration of each session is approximately 1 hour.
Where do these sessions take place?
All In-Person training sessions take place in my home gym located in Summerville, South Carolina. I am not currently meeting clients elsewhere, at this time.
I have never lifted weights before and i’m not interested in powerlifting, can we still work together?
Absolutely! I have a great deal of experience training clients of all fitness levels. You do not need a certain amount of lifting experience for us to work together. As a fitness professional, I understand that the majority of my clients have no interest in powerlifting either. And that’s okay! My priority is you and your goals.
do you provide meal plans?
No, but I will walk you through the basics of Nutrition and teach you how to commit to a healthier lifestyle! Together, we will review your current diet and look for ways to improve it to help meet your goals. Don’t know the different between macro and micronutrients? That’s where I come in!
How long will it take me to see results?
That depends. Everyone is different and progress is rarely linear! It’s important to set realistic goals and stay committed to your programming. We can adjust your programming if something isn’t working for you and collaboratively find the best way forward. Sometimes, it may take longer than expected but I am determined to get you there!
what if i have a pre-existing condition or injury?
It’s essential to inform me of any conditions or injuries you have or had from the beginning. I will usually inquire about this during our introductory consultation. This way, I can create an appropriate program that takes these factors into consideration. Your health, wellness, and safety are my top priorities so it’s crucial you, as my client, keep me informed with this information. That said, an injury doesn’t necessarily mean you need to stop engaging in physical activity completely. Together, we will work around your injury and create a program that’s safe for you!
what Can i expect from your online training?
I am currently offering two different online training options. The first option, priced at $25/month, is a general program that most people would be able to complete on their own. This plan offers a training split that ranges from just 2 days a week all the way to 5 days a week. You would also need access to basic gym equipment in order to follow this plan (barbell, dumbbells/kettlebells, bench, squat rack, etc.) This program is more fitting to those who do not need as much guidance, are more experienced or independent, or are simply just looking for a solid plan to follow.
The second option, priced at $45/month, is a more specific program catered to just you as an individual. This plan takes your fitness level, injury history, and access to equipment into account. This option is likely better suited for clients with highly specific goals, need more guidance in the gym, or are looking for more accountability.
Regardless of which option you choose, I am available to you as your coach and your first week of programming is FREE! You would be able to ask me questions or send me videos of your lifts for me to review. Either of these plans would be beneficial to you, especially if you are not local to the Charleston, SC area and still want to work together!
